Portakleen

Septic systems, holding tanks and other waste systems are nutrient rich systems for bacteria. Although many bacteria can utilize these organics as food sources, it is the bacteria with the most rapid production of these key enzymes that provide the most dramatic effects. Portakleen utilizes the capabilities of the microbial consortium to produce key extra-cellular enzymes including amylase, cellulase, lipase and protease for fast and effective degradation of organics and harmful bacteria.

Septic System Treatment

Septic systems can be overloaded or “Shocked” by cleaning chemicals, antibiotics, or intermittent use. Novozymes Bio-products restore effective activity in septic systems to reduce bottom solids and surface scum, eliminating the need for excessive pumping. Treatment also reduces odour by degrading malodourous volatile fatty acids released by incomplete digestion.
