CLEAN AIR – Improvement of Indoor Air Quality

In recent times, Indoor Air Quality is assuming an important role for providing good healthy atmosphere to the employees for improving their health, productivity and reducing sick leaves, which is a great loss to the Companies & Employers they are working for.

Many office buildings have significant air pollution sources. Some of these buildings may be inadequately ventilated. For example, mechanical ventilation systems may not be designed or operated to provide adequate amounts of outdoor air. Inadequate ventilation can increase indoor pollutant levels by not bringing in enough outdoor air to dilute emissions. As a result, there has been an increase in the incidence of reported health problems.

Biological load (virus, bacteria, fungus) inside, from the disease contracted, working people also increases health risk. Such conditions will contaminate the Indoor Air Quality further.

High temperature and humidity levels can also increase concentrations of some pollutants. Molds produce allergens and irritants.
