Portakleen

Septic systems, holding tanks and other waste systems are nutrient rich systems for bacteria. Although many bacteria can utilize these organics as food sources, it is the bacteria with the most rapid production of these key enzymes that provide the most dramatic effects. Portakleen utilizes the capabilities of the microbial consortium to produce key extra-cellular enzymes including amylase, cellulase, lipase and protease for fast and effective degradation of organics and harmful bacteria.

Portakleen concentrate is a multiple spore blend formulation specifically designed for STP/Septic Tank/Portable Toilets/Marine Holding Tanks.

In their natural environment, bacteria produce hundreds of enzymes in response to the organics present in their environment. They produce extra cellular enzymes that break down proteins, starches, fats, oils, grease and toilet tissue in to smaller particles.

Technical

1. Product will work in temperatures above 10 deg C. to 45 deg C.
2. Within 24 hours substantial reduction in following will be observed.
- A. BOD/COD
- B. odour around 90-95%
- C. 40% decrease in sludge, provided the waste being treated is human excreta only.
3. Contact time and dosage will depend on the size of the tank and overflow conditions. If the flow from the holding tank is continuous then dosage will increase. Product has to be tried to establish the optimum dosage and time. Please inform size of the tank and retention time in order to recommend dosages.
